Game Maker is a very intuitive program and its simple interface makes it very easy to use and get the hang of. All you will have to do is drag and drop all the components of your next video game. The options are essentially limitless. You can design games styled after Pac Man, with a base screen and moving objects, or you can create platform games, mazes… you can even use this program to design complex multiplayer games.

With this program, you can download images and sounds from the internet, or create your own, and then incorporate them into the Game Maker database. But if you’d rather get started right away, you can save time by using the elements that Game Maker comes with by default.
